If so, employer branding is one of the solutions to consider. But what exactly is employer branding?
Below is a list of terms commonly used in this field.
Brand ambassador: this is usually one (or more) employees who represent the company. This helps reinforce the employer brand, making it more authentic and credible.
Attraction (recruitment): refers to the process of recruiting and hiring new employees.
Team cohesion: the ability of employees to work together harmoniously and effectively.
Corporate culture: includes all the values, beliefs and practices of a company.
Employee advocacy: mobilizing employees to take an active part in promoting the company. It's more about defending the company's e-reputation.
Employee engagement: this measures the degree of satisfaction, motivation and involvement in their work.
Candidate experience: all interactions with a candidate throughout the recruitment process.
Onboarding: the process of integrating new employees as they join the company.
Social networks: essential tools for employer brand communication. They enable us to reach a wide audience and interact with candidates and employees.
Employee retention: or loyalty, this refers to the company's ability to retain its current employees and build their loyalty over the long term.
Sourcing: the process of finding and identifying potential candidates for a given position. Also known as headhunting.
Talent management: practices and policies put in place by a company to attract, recruit, develop and retain the best talent.
